A Horse Called Hope

‘A Horse Called Hope,’ my first feature film (originally released as ‘Christmas Ranch’), was a major milestone in my career, having been featured on Netflix for a few years. It is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Camera Movement

Cinematic Visual Techniques

This reel highlights a variety of my camera movement techniques, including dolly shots, drone flyovers, handheld sequences, gimbal tracking, slow-motion captures, and jib shots. I use each cinematic approach to bring your story to life.

Green Screen

Creative VFX Techniques

This reel showcases my green screen work for compositing across a range of projects. From historical re-creations, to mascot promotionals, to futuristic worlds. Each project demonstrates how I use lens selection, blocking, and lighting to seamlessly integrate with visual effects and transport audiences into entirely new realities.

Interviews

Background & Lens Selection, Lighting

This reel highlights my professional interview cinematography, often called ‘talking head’ work. From VIPs to subject-matter experts, I carefully craft each frame so that even simple backgrounds are transformed into visually appealing settings that support the story without distracting from the speaker.

Lighting Design

Promotional Lighting Design

This Mary Kay promotional spot highlights my role as Lighting Designer. With a car staged inside a massive infinity wall and a large Chimera softbox overhead, I shaped the lighting to create a polished, cinematic atmosphere that showcased the brand with style.

Lighting That’s Natural, But Better

For this WeightWatchers 360 shoot, I crafted the lighting to feel natural and true while still enhancing the scenes for a polished, cinematic look. The result is authentic environments that supports the story while keeping the focus on the people at the heart of it.

From Sandbox to Space

At the University of Maryland, I transformed a simple outdoor sandbox into a convincing lunar habitat using only lighting techniques. Through thoughtful use of light and shadows, I made the set feel like it was truly on the moon.
